FAQ about the life of La La Chimera
Is La La Chimera the man, the beast, or…?
La La is both the man and the beast, just like you. (Although if you’re asking about the picture above, the beast is the man’s daemon in a sort of His Dark Materials way.)
OK, got it, got it. But so La La Chimera is just Tyler Alterman right?
La La Chimera is a chimeric multi-contributor publication, although some of those contributors are alter-egos who live inside of “real” people.
What is La La’s Master Plan?
To participate in the never-ending creation of The Polyphony. In music, polyphony refers to multiple voices or melodies that form a composition without resolving into one. This applies at many scales as a philosophy of how to run society, community, and the mind.
At the most cosmic scale, The Polyphony is the divine composition that weaves together all things sacred and profane, from salsa dancing to gambling. This is the logical extension of ‘90s multiculturalism and its time has come.
Tell me about La La’s personal life
La La Chimera was born in the year 2026 – although he claims to be an emanation of the primordial energy of synthesis. He lives in New York City because it is the most polyphonic city in the world. It’s also where his parents met: His mother is Mandarava, one of the first fully enlightened yoginis of Vajrayana Buddhism. His father is the drinking, smoking, womanizing Mayan saint, Maximón.

But is La La single?
La La Chimera is in an open relationship with his own anima, El El Chimero.
